Lady Eagles Win Home Opener
The Montague Lady Eagles hosted Forestburg for their first game of the season last Thursday. Montague White played first and won in 2 sets 25-18, 25-18. Outstanding stats from this game: Maddyn Bowles 8 aces, 3 kills, Paige Davis 3 aces, 3 digs, 3 kills, 4 assists, Maddie Travis 3 assists, Jaelyn Rodriguez 3 kills, Emory Cauthen 3 aces and Trinity Hudson 2 aces. Montague's Blue team then beat Forestburg in 2 sets 25-17, 25-11. JoAnna Parr led the way with 13 aces followed by 5 from Lily Gray.
Montague will travel to Gold-Burg Thursday for their 2nd game of the season.
