Montague Travels to Forestburg
Montague traveled to Forestburg for basketball action on Monday night the 13th. The Lady Eagles won 39-19. Outstanding stats: Paige Davis 20 points, 17 rebounds, 4 assists, 1 block and 6 steals, Maddyn Bowles 8 points, 3 assists, 3 rebounds and 3 steals, Lynlee Coffman 5 points, 3 rebounds, Jaelyn Rodriguez 4 points, 3 rebounds, Trinity Hudson 2 points. The Lady Eagles will travel to the Nocona Tournament Saturday to compete in the 7th grade division beginning at 10 against Windthorst.
The Montague Eagles boy's team lost 57-58 in a hard-fought battle. It was back-and-forth all night providing for a highly entertaining game. Top scorers were Leevi Brown (19 points), Zayden McCullar (11 points), and Levi Newland (8 points). Other contributors include Ryan Newman and Aiden Chavez (6 points each), Brazos Jones 4 points, Kage Arnett 2 points and Koloa Teulilo 1 point.
The Eagles will take on Gold-Burg for their next game on November 30th at home.
