Launch the media gallery 1 playerMontague hosted Gold-Burg Thursday the 12th and the Lady Eagles came away with a win as the Eagles are still searching for their first win. The Lady Eagles won 39-12. Emma Read led the way with a double double, scoring 23 points, to go with 10 rebounds and 7 steals. Paige Davis scored 9 points, shooting 60% from the 3 point line, while grabbing 7 rebounds and dishing out 3 assists. Maddyn Bowles had 3 points and 4 steals, while Raylea Bowles and Avery Reed each scored a basket.
On the boy's side Gold-Burg won 47-21. Cooper Johnson led the way with 9 points on 3 3 pointers, Lane Smith scored 5 points, Ryan Newman scored 3 points while Koloa Teulilo and Brayden Croxton each scored a basket.
Montague will travel to Prairie Valley on Thursday for their next game.
