Track Team Competes at District
Launch the media gallery 1 playerThe Montague boys and girls track teams competed in the district track meet held in Bowie on Thursday afternoon. The girls placed 5th despite only having 5 girls on the team. Girl's results: Bayler Smith- 1st 800M and 1600 M, Tinley Cable- 1st 100M hurdles, 5th 100M, Aubree Kleinhans- 1st 300M hurdles, Emma Read- 2nd shot put, 5th triple jump, Raylea Bowles- 6th shot put, 12th long jump. The boys had a team of 4 who placed 6th. The results for the boys: TJ Haralson- 1st 100M, 1st 100M hurdles, 2nd 200M, 4th long jump, Brady Moore- 2nd shot put, Morgan Hudson- 11th 100M, 7th 200M, 13th long jump, Walker Strahan- 7th 400M. Montague will now move into tennis as they compete at the district tennis meet May 16th in Decatur.
