Lady Eagles Win Tournament
The Lady Eagles won the 7th grade division of the Cooke County Shootout in Gainesville on Saturday. Montague beat Lindsay in the opening game 32-7, they then met Gainesville and beat them 45-26. In the championship game the Lady Eagles beat Callisburg 42-17. Outstanding stats for the 3 games combined: Paige Davis- 64 points on 48% shooting, 17 assists, 26 rebounds and 8 steals, Emma Read- 26 points, 16 rebounds, 6 steals, Raylea Bowles- 11 points on 57% shooting, 10 rebounds, Maddyn Bowles 9 points, 7 steals, Avery Reed 9 points and 9 rebounds. Montague will host Gold-Burg on Thursday the 12th for their next match up.
